Iguazu Falls
Overview:
One of the UNESCO wonders of the Natural World, Iguazu falls is the largest waterfall in the world. With over 275 falls, fuelled by the water of 30 different rivers its power has be been seen to be believed.
Visable from both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides it is possible to ride up into the mouth of Iguazu Falls by boat.
The surrounding area is full of plentiful animal life due to the fertile river plains. Jaguars, monkeys, parrots, tucans and a diverse and colourful range of plant species all call this area their home.
There is nothing like a visit to the falls and you should really make sure that you have at least a day and a half to explore the various sections of it.
A really great way to see the falls in its glory is by taking one of the helicopter rides that are offered both on the Argentinean and Brazilian sides.
