DAY 1 Back to the Chapada Diamantina Travel Option
Private transfer on arrival in Lencois to your pousada. Afternoon tour to the Pai Inacio Hill which offers unsurpassed panoramic views enhanced by the afternoon sun. Overnight in Lencois.
DAY 2
Morning departure for a visit to the waterfalls of Rio Mucugeazinho & Poco do Diabo (The devils hole) with the option to abseil down the side of the waterfall.
After lunch visit the Blue & Silver Caves, where you can swim in the crystal clear water of the lake surrounding the Silver Cave. Continue to the Lapa Doce Cave before arriving in Capao.
Check into your Pousada which offers one of the most incredible valley views in the Chapada Diamantina region. Overnight Capao. (B, Light Lunch)
DAY 3
Travel through the Capao Valley where you will take a 2 hour walk up (and back!) to the impressive Cachoeira da Fumaça Waterfall, or Smoke Falls, with its 340 meter drop - one of the largest in the world and second largest in Brazil. The wind disperses the falling water and spray clouds drift upwards like smoke.
The Capao Valley is one of the most beautiful parts of Brazil - the views have to be seen firsthand to be truly appreciated. Afternoon return to the pousada. (B,L)
DAY 4
After breakfast, depart for the Povoado de Conceição dos Gatos, where you will walk up the magnificent Morrao Hill. (The return trip is approximately 4 hours of light to medium walking) Enjoy a panoramic view of the Capao Valley from the summit.
Afternoon transfer back to Lencois for overnight. (B, Light Lunch)
